About the role
Skillz operates a competitive mobile gaming platform with tournaments and tools for game developers. The SDET will build test automation, integrate testing into CI/CD, lead performance testing, and improve product reliability.
What you'll do
- Build automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and backend testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish release gates
- Improve test environment reliability, test data practices, and flaky test rates
- Lead load, stress, and scalability testing and address performance bottlenecks
- Debug distributed-system failures and lead root cause analysis
- Mentor SDET and QA engineers and promote testing practices
