About the role
Skillz operates a mobile esports platform for casual gaming tournaments and real-money competition. The SDET will build test automation, strengthen release quality, lead performance testing, and guide testing practices across teams.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and backend testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish release gates
- Improve test environments, test data practices, and flaky test rates
- Lead load, stress, and scalability testing and help resolve bottlenecks
- Debug distributed-system failures and lead root cause analysis
- Mentor SDET and QA engineers on effective testing practices
