About the role
Egis provides engineering, consulting, construction and mobility services, including infrastructure projects. The Principal Roads Technician will oversee road project operations, quality checks, site teams, safety compliance and technical documentation in Bengaluru.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily road construction and maintenance operations
- Inspect and test asphalt, concrete and aggregate materials
- Analyze site conditions and survey data to recommend technical solutions
- Coordinate equipment operators, laborers and subcontractors
- Monitor safety, environmental and traffic management compliance
- Train junior technicians on safety practices and technical standards
