About the role
ABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions and electrical equipment for industrial, commercial, and critical infrastructure customers. This specialist will qualify and develop suppliers, manage supplier quality issues, and oversee assessments and performance for low-voltage switchboards.
What you'll do
- Manage supplier approval for parts, materials, and subcontractor services
- Execute PPAP and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites
- Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and compliance issues
- Coordinate supplier engagement, claims, and performance concerns with buyers
- Oversee supplier onboarding, evaluation, and development activities
- Complete inspections and provide supplier evaluation reports
