Senior Buyer

Applied Materials develops materials science and engineering solutions and equipment for semiconductor chips and advanced displays. The Senior Buyer will procure supplies, maintain manufacturing supply continuity, resolve supplier issues, and lead purchasing projects.

• Manage supplier pull-ins and push-outs to meet manufacturing demand
• Lead cross-functional resolution of supply issues
• Purchase materials at competitive cost while balancing quality and urgency
• Drive inventory and excess-and-obsolete reduction efforts
• Manage purchasing projects, including cost, schedule, and scope
• Improve purchasing processes and train department staff
