About the role
Coupang operates an e-commerce platform serving customers across shopping, food, and daily life. This manager will lead an engineering team rebuilding scalable backend services for the global transportation platform.
What you'll do
- Lead, hire, and develop a team of 8–10 engineers
- Drive re-architecture of platform systems for global use cases
- Create technical designs and execution plans with senior engineers
- Own delivery planning, tracking, risk mitigation, and outcomes
- Build and evolve scalable event-driven systems processing millions of daily transactions
- Align global teams on priorities and large-scale initiatives
