About the role
Fluence delivers energy storage and optimization software and services for renewable energy and storage projects. The Senior Manager will lead mechanical and structural engineering, govern product design and validation, and guide cross-functional delivery from concept through deployment.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop the Mechanical and Structural Engineering team
- Translate product roadmaps into engineering strategies, resource plans, and priorities
- Govern mechanical, enclosure, and structural design decisions
- Oversee structural analysis, verification, validation, and compliance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver product releases and deployments
- Drive value engineering, cost reduction, standardization, and design reuse
