About the role
DigitalOcean builds cloud infrastructure and managed database services for developers. You will develop and operate distributed systems and controls for provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring database clusters.
What you'll do
- Develop the control plane for a cloud database platform
- Build scalable distributed systems for data and OLTP databases
- Create controls to provision, scale, back up, and destroy database clusters
- Build telemetry and logging for proactive signals and alerts
- Orchestrate workflows for database engines
- Automate database maintenance, upgrades, and security patching
