About the role
DigitalOcean builds cloud infrastructure, and its Audit Logging & Security Visibility team records and surfaces security activity across the platform. You will set technical direction for audit logging, security visibility, and integrations across high-volume distributed systems.
What you'll do
- Set multi-year architecture for audit logging, SIEM integrations, and security visibility
- Design audit and telemetry integrations with IAM, threat detection, and platform systems
- Define logging schemas, event taxonomies, and engineering standards
- Design multi-region systems handling billions of events with guaranteed delivery
- Guide cross-organizational technical decisions and resolve architectural conflicts
- Mentor engineers on system design and security engineering
