About the role
Palo Alto Networks develops cloud security and security operations platforms, including Prisma Cloud and Cortex Cloud. This engineer will lead backend development of scalable, reliable cloud-native services for those platforms.
What you'll do
- Lead design and implementation of backend features and microservices
- Develop scalable backend services using Go, Java, and Python
- Drive technical design decisions for platform features
- Collaborate with product, frontend, security research, and SRE teams
- Resolve production issues and improve platform reliability and performance
- Promote backend development, testing, and deployment practices
