Staff Engineer, API Platform

Sarvam builds a sovereign AI platform for India, including models, infrastructure and applications. The Staff Engineer will design and operate its high-scale model API platform, leading a Python-to-Go rewrite and improving streaming, billing, reliability and performance.

• Design and evolve the model API platform end to end
• Lead the platform rewrite from Python to Go
• Build audio, vision and streaming pipelines for model APIs
• Develop metering, billing, wallet and rate-limiting systems
• Improve platform performance, reliability and observability
• Build integration testing infrastructure for customer-facing APIs
