About the role
GE Aerospace develops and manufactures aircraft engines and aerospace technologies. This engineer will design and analyze compressor airfoils and rotating engine components, resolve manufacturing and field issues, and lead technical initiatives.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze High Pressure Compressor airfoils for the GE9X program
- Resolve part non-conformances and field or manufacturing issues
- Improve component performance, durability, cost, weight, and producibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop field plans and technical strategies
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers
- Analyze data and use digital tools to recommend actions
