About the role
Okta builds identity security products that help organizations integrate and govern access across enterprise applications. This engineer will lead backend architecture and reliability for integration frameworks, while contributing to frontend features when needed.
What you'll do
- Design shared frameworks and integration patterns across enterprise applications
- Improve reliability through rate limiting, retries, and resilient integration abstractions
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and operational improvements
- Guide API, testing, and code quality standards across the team
- Partner with product, support, security, and engineering teams on technical decisions
- Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring and interview loops
