Staff Technical Writer

Fivetran automates data movement across systems, clouds, and data platforms, while its combined organization with dbt Labs supports data transformation and governance. The Staff Technical Writer will create and improve customer documentation, release notes, and product text for data products.

• Create and maintain product documentation and release notes
• Review customer-facing content, including error messages and UI text
• Co-author documentation with engineers and product managers using docs-as-code workflows
• Improve documentation accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Develop documentation standards, style guides, templates, and shared resources
• Mentor writers and lead documentation projects
