About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, systems and services for rail, mining, marine and industrial markets. You will lead locomotive truck subsystem design, ensuring components meet technical, customer and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
- Lead design and development of locomotive truck subsystems and components
- Consolidate requirements and finalize concepts using trade-off analysis
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans
- Coordinate component interfaces with other subsystems
- Guide cross-functional teams and CAD development
- Document technical data and support training and process improvement
