Application Engineer, Vice President

The Private Markets Data Engineering team builds data products and technology for private markets as part of BlackRock. You will architect and operate scalable data platforms, pipelines, and analytics infrastructure for institutional investors and private markets clients.

• Architect and build reliable data pipelines and platform software
• Own data solutions from technical design through deployment and production support
• Embed validation, monitoring, lineage, and observability in data workflows
• Enable analytics and AI/ML through production-grade data infrastructure
• Lead architectural decisions and establish data engineering practices
• Partner with product, data science, and engineering teams on client solutions
