About the role
Zillow Home Loans provides mortgage financing and supports residential real estate transactions in the U.S. You will review appraisal reports, assess collateral risk, recommend actions, and help improve review quality and efficiency.
What you'll do
- Review residential appraisal reports against lender and agency guidelines
- Assess property characteristics, market conditions, comparable sales, adjustments, and reconciled value
- Identify appraisal deficiencies, inconsistencies, and collateral risk indicators
- Recommend appraisal clearance, revisions, desk reviews, or escalations
- Partner with processing and underwriting to resolve appraisal issues
- Share defect patterns and contribute to review procedures and quality calibration
