About the role
ABB's IEC Low Voltage Division makes energy-efficient low voltage motors and related solutions for industrial applications. The Category Specialist develops and executes sourcing strategies, manages suppliers and agreements, and works to improve cost, quality, delivery and reliability.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories
- Negotiate supplier agreements and renew pricing and contract terms
- Identify, qualify, onboard and evaluate suppliers
- Manage supplier risk and apply supply chain standards and processes
- Monitor category targets for cost, cash, quality and on-time delivery
