Data Engineer

Prodigal provides AI agents and software for financial institutions' lending and customer operations. The Data Engineer will build and maintain dbt-based data pipelines, produce reliable modeled datasets, and support analytics and AI/ML initiatives.

• Design and manage data pipelines in the Databricks data lake
• Own dbt models, sources, tests, macros, and incremental strategies
• Build tested and documented data assets for downstream teams
• Translate business logic into durable dbt models
• Provide clean, validated data for AI and ML initiatives
• Find and fix performance bottlenecks in data models and reporting pipelines
