About the role
Caterpillar develops gas turbine products and systems for industrial applications. This engineer will lead product quality activities across design, manufacturing, suppliers, and field operations.
What you'll do
- Lead quality planning for gas turbine product programs
- Review designs, drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Qualify suppliers and validate supplier processes
- Investigate quality issues and drive corrective actions
- Analyze product quality data and recommend improvements
- Maintain quality plans, inspection requirements, and control plans
