About the role
GM’s Global Manufacturing Engineering connects manufacturing plants with product engineering through design, simulation and factory technology. You will build and operate full-stack applications and data integrations that support manufacturing intelligence and operational decisions.
What you'll do
- Build manufacturing intelligence applications across frontend, backend and database layers
- Develop React and TypeScript interfaces for dashboards and workflow tools
- Create Python and FastAPI services and APIs
- Integrate applications with manufacturing systems, equipment data and enterprise services
- Design PostgreSQL data models, queries and data pipelines
- Deploy, test and troubleshoot applications across cloud, enterprise and edge environments
