About the role
General Motors develops vehicles and works on automotive engineering programs. This engineer will assess ergonomics across vehicle programs and recommend changes to vehicle designs and manufacturing processes.
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver ergonomic assessments for global vehicle programs
- Use digital human modeling tools to identify ergonomic risks
- Analyze assembly operations and recommend design or process changes
- Coordinate ergonomic issue resolution with engineering and plant teams
- Lead or support initiatives to improve ergonomics methods and tools
- Prepare reports and status updates on ergonomic studies
