About the role
NETGEAR develops smart switches with managed networking features and cloud-based management. You will develop and maintain embedded Linux firmware across applications, cloud integration, configuration, CLI, and web interfaces.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain user-space daemons and firmware services
- Build cloud-agent integrations, REST handlers, and device-to-cloud communication
- Enhance CLI commands and configuration management
- Maintain web-based switch management interfaces
- Implement and maintain SNMP MIB support
- Test and debug firmware on physical switch hardware
