About the role
NXP develops NFC platforms and firmware for secure connected products across mobile, automotive, wearables, and IoT. You will define and deliver low-level firmware architecture, supporting product development from pre-silicon readiness through post-silicon bring-up.
What you'll do
- Define firmware architecture for RISC-V and ARM platforms
- Derive firmware requirements from system, hardware, and customer specifications
- Design low-level firmware components to meet platform constraints
- Own firmware modules through integration and silicon bring-up
- Review firmware designs, code, and validation strategies
- Support tapeout readiness and resolve hardware-software integration issues
