Lead Application Engineer

GE Vernova Consulting Services provides power systems engineering, power economics analysis and related solutions to global clients. This engineer will analyze grid and power electronics systems, build and modify simulation models, and deliver studies and customer reports.

• Analyze power electronics and power system controls for renewable generation and storage
• Model electrical equipment and controls in power system simulation software
• Perform planning, renewable integration, feasibility and grid code compliance studies
• Support customers with engineering analysis, equipment design and failure mode assessments
• Prepare reports and presentations explaining analyses and solutions
• Conduct field testing and present technical content at industry forums
