About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, systems, digital solutions and services for rail, mining, marine and industrial markets. This engineer will design and validate locomotive cab structures and packaging, supporting manufacturing and coordinating design reviews and project delivery.
What you'll do
- Design locomotive cabs and components to system requirements
- Evaluate design concepts, risks and mitigation plans
- Prepare verification and validation plans for cab functionality
- Support in-house manufacturing and resolve supplier or field issues
- Review and approve designs and detailed drawings
- Manage project scope and schedules across multiple projects
