About the role
GE Vernova develops renewable energy systems, including wind turbine and wind-farm control technology. This engineer will design, test, validate, and deploy SCADA and EDGE applications and analytics for wind farms.
What you'll do
- Define requirements and design tradeoffs for wind-farm EDGE applications
- Develop software features and analytics using C#, .NET, and Python
- Test and validate applications through simulation or remote turbine testing
- Containerize and deploy algorithms in wind-farm EDGE environments
- Support product configuration, sustaining, and customer support
- Collaborate with engineering teams on energy system control technology
