About the role
Karya creates datasets for large companies while providing ethical earning and learning opportunities to underserved communities. The Lead Product Designer will guide a design team and create inclusive mobile and web products informed by research and field learning.
What you'll do
- Design accessible experiences for low-bandwidth, multilingual environments
- Set design direction and manage and mentor designers
- Own product design from concept through execution
- Lead user research, field visits, and usability testing
- Establish scalable design systems and processes
- Explore AI-assisted design workflows and human-in-the-loop experiences
