About the role
Collins Aerospace develops aerospace and defense products, including aircraft evacuation slides and evacuation systems. The Operations Manager will lead manufacturing teams and oversee safe, compliant, efficient production and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Lead manufacturing operations for aircraft evacuation slides and associated systems
- Manage production plans, capacity, manpower deployment and operational performance
- Ensure aerospace quality, regulatory compliance and process controls
- Drive lean improvements, problem resolution and manufacturing automation initiatives
- Develop production-team capability through training, cross-training and certification
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain and other functions on manufacturing priorities
