About the role
Otis manufactures, installs, and services elevators and escalators. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop suppliers and sourcing strategies for mechanical components, localization, cost management, and supply continuity.
What you'll do
- Develop sourcing strategies and manage procurement initiatives
- Select, assess, audit, and develop suppliers
- Lead localization, qualification, and dual-sourcing projects for critical components
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage supplier pricing
- Monitor supplier capacity, delivery, quality, and performance
- Lead the sourcing function for engineering programs and new product introductions
