About the role
Otis manufactures, installs, and services elevators and escalators worldwide. This manager will develop sourcing strategies, improve suppliers, reduce costs, and manage supply risks for electrical and electronic components.
What you'll do
- Develop sourcing strategies for electrical components and assemblies
- Lead supplier localization, alternate sourcing, and NPI sourcing
- Drive cost reductions through analysis and commercial negotiations
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and quality metrics
- Manage supplier contracts, pricing, and commercial relationships
- Coordinate supplier readiness, sample approvals, and PPAP/APQP activities
