About the role
Cisco develops networking and infrastructure products, including hardware for connecting and protecting organizations. You will support mechanical engineering across product introduction and sustaining, improving product quality, manufacturing readiness, and cost.
What you'll do
- Support products from new product introduction through end of life
- Structure bills of materials and manage associated risks
- Resolve design-for-manufacturing issues with engineering teams
- Drive design and manufacturing failure mode analyses
- Improve product quality and reduce costs across product lifecycles
- Assess contract manufacturer and supply chain technical capabilities
