About the role
F5 develops hardware and software for securing and running applications across digital environments. This engineer will lead mechanical design for network hardware from concept through production, while guiding technical decisions and supporting manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Lead system-level mechanical design and define product architecture
- Drive manufacturability, testability, and reliability throughout development
- Evaluate technologies and guide new product design directions
- Mentor engineers and review their mechanical design work
- Coordinate validation and issue resolution with suppliers and manufacturers
- Review drawings and release bills of materials and engineering changes
