• Architect distributed backend systems and make critical design decisions
• Define technical strategy for major components and product features
• Lead hands-on implementation from design through testing and deployment
• Drive code quality, API test automation, security, and engineering practices
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability
• Mentor engineers and advise teams on technical challenges
