About the role
Harness provides an AI-powered software delivery platform for testing, deployment, security, reliability, compliance, and cost optimization. The Principal Software Engineer will solve complex technical problems and guide cross-team engineering initiatives across the platform.
What you'll do
- Coordinate engineering efforts across teams and align decisions with strategic plans
- Harden existing assets for reuse and prevent duplicated work
- Mentor engineers and champion continuous improvement
- Plan resources, project milestones, and success criteria for major initiatives
- Solve difficult technical problems and propose proofs of concept
- Represent projects to customers, partners, and senior leadership
