About the role
IHL's data engineering projects build pipelines and data products, with QA support also spanning web and app projects. This engineer will validate data workflows and reports, automate quality checks, and perform functional and regression testing as needed.
What you'll do
- Validate data pipelines, transformations, completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation
- Write SQL queries to test data quality across ETL and ELT workflows
- Design test plans, test cases, and traceability documentation
- Build automated data quality checks for pipeline workflows
- Verify reports and dashboards against source data and business logic
- Perform deployment, schema-change, web, and app testing as needed
