About the role
ABB Motion develops motors, generators, drives, and related technologies for industrial customers. The R&D Team Lead manages engineers and development work, guiding team capability, project delivery, quality, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Manage a group of 10 engineers and contract staff
- Coach and mentor engineers on career and competence development
- Staff projects and balance team workloads against assigned work
- Manage global software resources and competence
- Safeguard deliverable quality and take corrective action on project progress
- Propose and execute team and customer-focused improvement processes
