About the role
Zillow operates a real estate platform and its forecasting group develops outlooks that guide business planning. You will build, validate, deploy, and explain statistical and machine learning forecasts for Zillow’s business lines.
What you'll do
- Design and evaluate statistical, econometric, and machine learning forecasting methods
- Build backtesting and validation frameworks for forecast accuracy and stability
- Own modeling from scoping and feature engineering through deployment and monitoring
- Explain forecast drivers, uncertainty, and trade-offs to senior leadership
- Improve shared forecasting tools, data pipelines, and processes
