About the role
Navan provides travel and expense services and is building fraud detection capabilities to protect its customers and financial ecosystem. This person will develop and deploy fraud models, rules, and analytics across travel, payments, and expense workflows.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy machine learning features and fraud rule workflows
- Develop models to detect and prevent fraud across onboarding, payments, and expenses
- Research anomaly detection, network modeling, clustering, and link analysis
- Monitor models, manage retraining, and optimize post-deployment performance
- Analyze fraud causes, losses, and control effectiveness
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and fraud teams on scalable prevention measures
