About the role
FamApp provides UPI and card payments for young users in India. The Senior DBA will run and secure production databases, improve reliability and performance, and manage recovery, audits, and costs.
What you'll do
- Own production database availability and lead incident response
- Tune database queries, indexing, capacity, and scaling
- Design and test backup, replication, and disaster recovery
- Manage database audit controls, access, encryption, and retention
- Operate CDC pipelines, object storage, and distributed query engines
- Plan upgrades, migrations, and database readiness for product launches
