About the role
Sphera provides enterprise software and services for environmental, health, safety, and sustainability management. The Senior Database Administrator operates and optimizes database platforms, manages availability and recovery, and supports Azure-hosted SaaS applications.
What you'll do
- Operate SQL Server environments across on-premises and Azure platforms
- Tune queries, indexes, and database performance
- Manage clustering, failover, backups, and disaster recovery testing
- Provision and troubleshoot Azure SQL resources and network connectivity
- Automate database operations with scripts and infrastructure tools
- Provide Tier-3 and Tier-4 incident support on a 24x7 rotation
