About the role
AECOM provides engineering and infrastructure services for projects across sectors including energy, transportation and buildings. This engineer will lead mechanical design packages for underground mining, materials handling and fixed-plant projects.
What you'll do
- Lead mechanical design packages for underground mining and fixed-plant projects
- Design and analyse conveyor, transfer and bulk-solids handling systems
- Prepare calculations, equipment specifications, technical evaluations and design reports
- Coordinate engineering interfaces across civil, structural, electrical and process teams
- Support technical reviews, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational readiness
- Mentor engineers and designers and contribute to technical standards
