About the role
SonicWall provides cybersecurity products and services for SMBs, MSPs and IT teams. This engineer will architect and develop enterprise wireless access point software and integrate it with cloud management and security systems.
What you'll do
- Own software architecture and delivery from chipset SDK integration to cloud-managed provisioning
- Develop features for Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points
- Implement mesh, locationing and enterprise roaming capabilities
- Integrate chipset vendor SDKs and tune wireless performance
- Build cloud-managed provisioning, configuration, monitoring and control capabilities
- Coordinate data paths between AP firmware, firewalls and cloud dashboards
