About the role
Calix provides a cloud-first platform that helps communication service providers automate operations and deliver subscriber experiences. This engineer will develop embedded Wi-Fi and mesh networking features, research technologies, and resolve connectivity and interoperability issues.
What you'll do
- Design and implement Wi-Fi software features and unit tests
- Develop and integrate mesh networking features on gateway platforms
- Create proof-of-concept implementations for new technologies
- Research emerging Wi-Fi technologies
- Debug field issues involving connectivity, roaming, stability, and interoperability
