About the role
Okta provides authentication and authorization infrastructure for organizations, including shared core services designed for reliability at scale. You will manage engineers and guide the development, operation, and resilience of backend frameworks and shared services.

- Manage and coach a distributed engineering team
- Guide development and rollout of shared backend services and frameworks
- Coordinate high-impact cross-team resilience projects
- Set team strategy and contribute to the engineering roadmap
- Participate in incident reviews and improve reliability and scale
