About the role
Target is a major retailer operating stores and retail facilities. The engineer will design, assess, and review structural systems for new and existing retail buildings and coordinate engineering solutions through construction.
What you'll do
- Design structural systems for new retail buildings and store renovations
- Assess existing facilities and develop structural modification solutions
- Review structural drawings, calculations, shop drawings, and submittals
- Coordinate structural requirements with project teams and construction partners
- Conduct site assessments and resolve field construction issues
- Mentor junior engineers and perform quality control reviews
