About the role
Cohesity provides AI-powered data security and protection for enterprise data across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments. You will develop and harden directory services software for tracking, safely changing, backing up, and restoring Active Directory state.
What you'll do
- Design and implement an engine to discover and apply Active Directory object changes
- Build change-tracking pipelines using DirSync, USN cookies, and change notifications
- Handle tombstones, deleted-object lifetimes, and Recycle Bin semantics
- Preserve and validate SID, SID history, and GUID identity continuity
- Implement safe object modifications, renames, and creation operations
- Diagnose replication, consistency, and LDAP issues in production
