About the role
Cohesity provides AI-powered data security and storage solutions that protect enterprise data across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments. This senior individual contributor will shape distributed storage, filesystem, and datapath architecture and guide technical strategy across engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Define the architecture roadmap for distributed storage and datapath services
- Design scalable filesystem, metadata, and data placement architectures
- Improve storage performance, reliability, and data efficiency
- Lead technical investigations into scalability and performance bottlenecks
- Mentor senior and principal engineers through design reviews and technical guidance
- Represent storage architecture in cross-functional and customer-facing discussions
