Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack

Fivetran automates data movement, while dbt helps teams transform data into reliable insights. You will build full-stack developer experiences across dbt Studio, its VS Code extension, and the CLI runtime, including AI-powered workflows.

• Own parts of the CLI workspace runtime and enable background agent runs
• Build streaming agent experiences, tool calls, diff review, and rich analytics outputs
• Develop MCP integrations for AI clients such as Claude and Codex
• Lead projects from planning through delivery and measure their results
• Share on-call and customer support for developer surfaces
• Mentor engineers earlier in their careers
