About the role
GlobalFoundries provides semiconductor design, development and fabrication services through a global manufacturing network. The strategist will optimize spare-parts planning, inventory and repair strategies, and improve planning decisions through analytics and cross-functional execution.
What you'll do
- Develop and govern spare- and repair-parts planning strategies across fabs
- Recommend inventory levels and repair-loop policies using demand, risk and cost data
- Review supplier lead times, repair capacity and planning master data
- Monitor shortages, excess inventory, repair backlogs and supply risks
- Build analytical models, dashboards and scenario simulations for planning decisions
- Standardize planning processes and lead cross-functional improvement projects
